How to use Bruxoff at home in 9 simple steps.

A1. Attach the connection cable (B) to the three electrocardiography clips (D), in the correct number order.

A2. Place the electrocardiographic electrode (D) on the left side of the thorax, about 5-10 cm below the sternum, just below the left pectoral muscle. The application area should be shaved and swabbed with alcohol: soaps, oils or lotions should not be applied in this area prior to placement.

A3. Once done, wear the (E) Bruxoff chest belt.

A5. Insert the Bruxoff (A) into the chest belt pocket (E).

A6. Place the electromyography electrodes (C) on the masseter muscles. Place them between the cheekbone and the angle of the jaw, where the muscle bulges out during teeth clenching. The application area should be shaved and swabbed with alcohol: soaps, oils or lotions should not be applied in this area prior to placement.

A7. Attach the connection cable (B) to EMG electrodes (C), the connector 4 on the electrode that you find on your right, the connector 5 on the electrode that you find on your left.

A8. Start recording by pressing the Bruxoff start/stop button (F) using a pen.

A9. Grind the teeth 3 times with the maximum clenching force and go to sleep (each clenching should last about 2 seconds with 5 seconds of rest between each clenching).

When you wake up, stop the recording by pressing the Bruxoff start/stop button (F), disconnect the electrodes connection cable (B), remove the electrodes (C) and (D). Bring the system back to your dentist who will process the data..
